Why Light Roast?
First and foremost,

For us, we found the secret to finding that enjoyable cup is removing the additions of cream and sugar.
The biggest hidden gem in coffee is once your drink coffee black you finally start to taste the skill of the coffee roaster and the natural flavors of the region of the coffee.
A dark roast will highlight the additions a roaster adds to coffee - smokey, bitter, roasty.
A medium roast begins to the highlight the skill of the roaster and the coffee region with highlighting the sweet notes - chocolates, fruits, caramel.
The light roast is highlighting the roaster and the coffee region by adding just enough heat to get the coffee to develop the delicate bright sweet notes - florals, citrus, nutty, chocolates
The notes paired with a balanced brew is what make sipping black coffee so incredible.
