July Club Roast

July, it is finally here, hello Summer! We are celebrating the time to get out side and wander somewhere. What better way to the summer vibes started than with the components of Wander, Guatemala and Kenya.

Get ready! For the next four weeks, we're introducing you to unique coffee companions, each perfect for your upcoming adventures.

First up, for those early, pre-sunrise brewing sessions, we recommend our Guatemala coffee. Set your coffee maker to brew 2.5 mugs – enough to enjoy before and during your wanderings. (Pro tip: if you have the Aiden coffee maker by Fellow, use the auto-brew feature so you wake up to the aroma of fresh coffee!) Our go-to recipe for the coffee maker uses 44.1 grams of medium-ground coffee with a yield of 750 ml [ 1 : 15 ratio ]. This gives you a richer, more concentrated flavor, highlighting its delicious jammy fruit and creamy notes.

Next, we're off to Kenya! This coffee is also great for early mornings, but we find it's best enjoyed with a little more time to brew and savor. We always reach for the Chemex with our African coffees; the clarity it brings truly makes Kenyan coffee shine bright. Our favorite Chemex recipe calls for 42 grams of medium-fine ground coffee, a yield of 750 ml, and a water temperature of 210°F. (Keep an eye out for our detailed Chemex brew guide, coming soon!)
